Back to the Blog

It's been quite a while since I've posted!  Since it's mainly family and friends reading my blog, you'll know it's because we moved across Canada last winter and then embarked on months of house renovations.  I didn't get a lot of scrapbooking done during that time (I unpacked and packed my office two whole times during the move and renovations).  However, over the summer I did get back into my scrapbooking and I do have some projects to share.

I also have some fun news!!  I am published in the Fall 2015 issue of Scrapbook and Cards Today and will also be published in the upcoming Winter issue of Canadian Scrapbooker.

So when I last left off, I said my next project would be a mini album for my cousin to document her summer visit with us.  It's a fun little album with lots of little layers & I sent it to her as a surprise after her visit (a whole year later to be exact - better late than never, right?) So here it is:

One of my goals this year is to work with my stash and make room for all the wonderful new releases that I am terrible at resisting.  With this mini album, I used a lot of items from older summer collections by Bella Blvd and Carta Bella.  All the little flower-like sequins are by Teresa Collins.  I believe the album base was by Dear Lizzy.  Anywhere you see embossing, that was done with my Teresa Collins Cut'n'Boss
More sharing to come; up next is an album I made in a class with Ali Edwards.
Thanks for dropping by :-)
